Answer:Fabric is a nice thickness. Not military grade canvass but nice. I've used this tent in rain and light winds so far and it really is nice. Zippers are solid and even the stakes included are good quality.Question:is the floor fire retardant?

Bought this tent set it up at the beginning of the summer stayed up all summer. Went through a couple smaller hail storms and one big one. Survived amazingly well. Extremely happy with my purchase for the first year but for the price tag better last many more.

We (family of four) just camped in this for a week on the Oregon coast, about 200 yards from the beach. It held up great in the wind, moisture, mud, sand, and rain! Make sure you set it up, spray it down, and let it dry before you take it camping. Get a wood stove for it, If you're camping where it's cold. Be sure to have some sort of safe heat shield under it. It warms up well and helped us stay comfortable. We could live in this tent pretty easily. I am 6'2" and can stand up comfortably near the center of the tent. I have owned several tents throughout my life and have done all kinds of camping, this is by far the best tent I've owned. It comes with a few extra parts. 👍 It is heavy, so it is not a backpacking tent. Take it camping where you don't have to haul it very far. We absolutely love this tent and can't wait to take it on more trips!
